Co-Founder

Arif co-founded Solyx AI after a career developing the grid that AI now depends on. At NextEra Energy Resources, North America's largest renewable energy developer, he worked on the development and interconnection of 6 GW of solar and battery storage projects, and sourced $3 billion of mission-critical equipment for solar projects across the US, negotiating and managing the contracts behind it.

He earned his engineering degree and a master's in management science in Türkiye and worked across Europe and the Middle East, then came to the US for an MBA at Cornell before joining NextEra.

"Solyx AI was founded on a mission to rethink how AI compute scales on the grid. As inference workloads exploded and centralized infrastructure hit hard limits, a new path emerged: AI doesn’t need massive datacenters, it needs coordination across multiple smaller sites, built where power and connectivity already live."
